Menneskerettighetsfondet

The Norwegian Human Rights Fund aims to be a flexible, courageous and global actor working to protect and promote human rights internationally through direct support to local human rights organisations. The organisation’s overall objective is increased respect for the human rights of vulnerable and marginalised individuals and groups. To contribute to this overall objective, the NHRF supports work against impunity and discrimination and for access to justice, improved working conditions and security for human rights defenders. The NHRF provides direct financial support, focuses on networking and capacity building and uses communications, advocacy and strategic alliance building as tools.
